Our vision is to see as many people as possible celebrating the supremacy of Jesus Christ and leading others into a growing relationship with Him. But this doesn't happen magically just be wishing for it or dreaming about it. Jesus' command was to go and make disciples, not merely dream about it, or talk about it--but to do it. This is where our ministry strategy comes in.

Flowing out of our vision and our ministry values is a plan for how to best use the resources entrusted to us to preach and teach the gospel so that more and more people are as many people as possible celebrating the supremacy of Jesus Christ and leading others into a growing relationship with Him. The following picture describes the main path that we want to walk down along side of those who are growing in their relationship with Jesus.

Worship Services are the environment where most people experience Smokey Point Community Church for the first time and hear about answers to initial questions.

After attending for a while, the next likely step is to come to Starting Point. This is an environment where you can hear the details about what, how, and why we do what we do, and about the God whom we celebrate. Ask questions, get to know more people, and learn how to grow in faith and connect to the church's mission.

After Starting Point, a next likely step will be to connect to one of our Life Groups. Life Groups are at the heart of our church. Currently over 600 of our attenders are in life groups and it is here that they experience authentic Christian community that fosters growth, and provides friendships for support and encouragement for all we face in life.

Finally, every believer should be involved in Outreach of some kind. This includes individually sharing the joy of Jesus with friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors; sharing the love and truth of Jesus in our communities together in our Life Groups and through other organized outreach efforts; and additionally through supporting missions in prayer, giving, sending, or going on one of our short term trips. In the midst of these, each person's role in what we do here will emerge as they serve in these ways and through various volunteer opportunities within our church.
