Overview
Jesus seemed especially interested in ministering to the people that few others minister to. At Smokey Point Community Church, we seek to follow Christ's example in every area of life, and this one is no different. There is a team of people here to have a heart particularly drawn to serving individuals with disAbilities and their families. We have support groups for parents of children with special needs, we host seminars for training and support for families, we have "buddies" who are available to link up with preschool and elementary children in our programs with special needs, and we host or sponsor occasional events for children or adults with special needs or their families.
