Getting Connected PDF Print E-mail
In a church our size, it is easy to get lost in the crowd. Maybe at first this is good. You can hang back, check things out, and see what we're all about. But if you've already done that, you may be asking, "how can I get involved?" or "what is my next step?" We try to keep it simple. Try one of the following:

Attend Starting Point. This class is offered periodically throughout the year. Going to the class doesn't necessarily mean that you want to be a member. But what it does do is answer most of the common questions people have about Smokey Point Community Church, what we believe about God and people and how we love the people in our community. You're able to ask questions, meet people, and gain a better understanding of what we're all about. Let us know if you would like to attend this informative and fun class. Join a Life Group. One of our convictions at Smokey Point Community Church is that personal growth and discipleship happen best in small groups. This belief, coupled with limited facility space means that we place greater emphasis on small groups and less emphasis on traditional Sunday school classes. Life Groups are where 4-12 people meet weekly to help each other grow in their walk with Christ, form meaningful relationships, discover the joy of serving, and reach out into the world around them. Learn more about Life Groups here.

Volunteer. There are a lot of opportunities to get involved in the mission of Smokey Point Community Church. Check out the opportunities available for you to connect to this mission here.

Check out the specific links to the left. Depending on your stage of life, there are several opportunities for people similar to you.
