Sabbath ReflectionsPosted by Bryan in ponderous |

It is by Dr. Tim Keller, who pastors Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. For those of you who need a few more handles on what to do with your sabbath time, Dr. Keller gives some good insight.
He talks about some internal disciplines of sabbath (which Jim also talked about this weekend) but also some external ones. Like...if I am not working, what should I be doing? He gives five external disciplines for sabbath time and three internal ones.
The Scripture Reading is done by Max McLean, who does a lot of reading for audio Bibles. He may sound a little "snobbish" at first, but he does a great job. If you can find it, also listen to his reading of Jonathan Edward's sermon, Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.
