Bryan - this is more than powerful. This is... painful. Painful in the sense that when I compare how flipantly I take my relationship with Jesus to this lady and these people are... I'm embarrassed of myself and of American "christians". Here, you accept the gospel (or our version of it) and it will cost you nothing. But there, God calls this lady and it will cost her everything. How I pray that the gospel would become VERY EXPENSIVE TO ME! How different do I have to live in order to keep Jesus as my most prized possession? How uncomfortable am I willing to make myself so that God is my ONLY comfort? Not food, not my house, not my wonderful wife, not my 4 incredible boys...?
this IS painful...
as well it should be...
