I'm one of the pastors here at Smokey Point Community Church and they allow me to have the responsibility and privilege of overseeing budgets, buildings, publications, communication, "other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor," planning, office staff, maintenance staff, and some other stuff. Of course, this does not mean that the leadership team (or you) agree with everything I post here. It's just my opinion. So consider yourself warned! ;-)

I was checking out a few things on Dave Ramsey's website, and ran accross this inspiring story about a guy who just had his power turned off. Dave gave him some great counsel that may be good for you or someone you know.

When Someone Steals Your Church

I read this blog today about a church plant that had their trailer (with all their stuff in it for church services) stolen. The short of the story is that they posted billboards around their community with some interesting sayings. I found the following one funny but pointed at the same time. Clever.
